Terms of Use

Effective July 18, 2026. These terms apply when you use HoopClips apps, the browser demo, and cloud services operated by the Atrak project team.

Using HoopClips

You may use HoopClips only in compliance with these terms, applicable law, Apple platform rules, league and venue policies, and the rights of everyone shown or heard in a video.

If you are below the age required to agree to these terms where you live, a parent or guardian must review and accept them for you.

Your Videos And Permission

You keep ownership of videos and other content you submit. You grant Atrak a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, analyze, transform, render, and deliver that content only as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the HoopClips service.

You confirm that you have permission to upload, process, edit, and share the content, including any required consent from athletes, parents, guardians, schools, teams, leagues, venues, broadcasters, and music owners.

Cloud And AI Results

HoopClips uploads selected content to cloud services for analysis, edit planning, and rendering. Network access is required. Processing can take time, be queued, or fail.

Detected plays, labels, scores, crops, captions, and AI edit decisions are automated estimates. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for recruiting, coaching, officiating, safety, eligibility, or other important decisions. Review every result before relying on or publishing it.

Free And Paid Features

Free outputs may have duration, resolution, daily render, template, revision, watermark, outro, and retention limits. Paid features may provide higher limits or remove branding when the active entitlement allows it.

Purchases are handled through Apple and may be managed through RevenueCat. Apple controls billing, renewal, refunds, and subscription management under the App Store terms shown at purchase. HoopClips does not charge you outside an authorized purchase flow.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not upload unlawful, exploitative, harassing, deceptive, infringing, or non-consensual content.
  • Do not use HoopClips for surveillance, biometric identification, face recognition, or to infer sensitive traits.
  • Do not probe, bypass, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with service limits, access controls, storage, queues, or credentials.
  • Do not upload secrets, private keys, medical records, student records, or other information not needed to create a basketball edit.

Storage And Availability

Cloud uploads, renders, and logs are temporary operational artifacts, not a permanent backup service. Retention schedules and cleanup behavior are described in the Privacy Policy. Save any output you want to keep.

We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue a feature to protect users, control cost, comply with law or provider rules, or maintain service reliability. Feature flags may make a beta feature unavailable without an app update.

HoopClips And Third-Party Services

HoopClips branding, non-public service infrastructure, and service design belong to the Atrak project team and its licensors. These terms do not give you ownership of private code, assets, trademarks, or service infrastructure. Any source code published under a separate open-source license remains governed by that license.

Apple, Google, Cloudflare, Google Cloud, OpenAI, RevenueCat, Sentry, Formspree, and external editor or sharing destinations have their own terms and policies. Atrak is not responsible for content or actions controlled by those services.

Disclaimers, Enforcement, And Contact

HoopClips is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, perfect detections, permanent storage, or a particular recruiting, athletic, social, or commercial result.

We may reject content, stop a job, limit access, or terminate use that violates these terms or threatens the service. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
